Iv been trading for some time now but i haven't really dealt with zkeys in large quantities and i would like to get an idea of how much time is spent actually collecting the keys

I know that the time varies alot depending of what your paying per key if its at the current market price or below/above it

So want i really would like to know is if you have reached a high zrank how long did it take for you to buy the keys and at the time of your purchasing would you say you paid the market price or somewhere below or above it?

Starting from 0 or w/e rank you acquired before going all out on the title

Actually it takes 20,000 zkeys @ $5,500 each. That would be $110,000,000. Figure ectos

go for $7000 you are looking at 14,286 ectos. Plus I seriously doubt you can even find

20,000 zkeys for sale within a years time. For the HOM you only need level 3 which is 200 keys.

You should play the game get Balth faction etc.

It won't take a year if you're willing to slightly overpay.

If you have mass amounts of ectos you can always trade someone who collects zkeys (buys low, sells high). Most of those traders will have a few thousand in stock at a time.

So if you're willing to slightly overpay (which actually may be worth it considering the time you'd save) I'm sure you can get 20k zkeys in a week.

However if you're buying with plat and/or if you're buying at the lowest market rate then it could take up to a year.

OR you can try sellign any high-end minis for zkeys only?

So even if you have the capitol now, it would take you anywhere between a week-1 year depending on how much you want to pay. If you do NOT have the capitol then it all depends on how many deals you can make trading.

Fibber is right though it should take around 14k ectos at current rates.

Don't ask questions you don't want to hear the answer to.

It would probably take a year of dedicated effort where you spend most of your spare time working on making in-game cash to make the equivalent of 20k zkeys. Longer if you want to have a life.

If you already have the capital, it would probably take weeks to a month to round up all the keys. As ACWhammy pointed out, your willingness to overpay will have a lot to do with how long it takes to collect them all.

sorry i should have mentioned that assuming you have the cash enough for r0-r12 how long the actual collecting and buying of z-keys would take

A year is an ammusing guess. Unless, U can either EARN 100,000,000 balth in 1 year or come up with almost 15,000 ecto in 1 year. There are 8670 hours per year (24hrs per day times 365 days per year), so to earn 100,000,000 balth that's 11,416 balth per hour or about 190 balth per minute or 3 balth per second..... CONTINUOUSLY!!!!

I'm rank z9 atm. Below is a snapshot of my zkey accumulation since may 2008 when the z title was added (Ive earned just over 20,000,000 balth to date & spent over $3M on zkeys)

Haha.. you think this title is obtainable? JK, don't even think about doing it legit, that would take well over 5 years considering I have played since it was implemented and I'm no where near R12, then again I haven't tried to max it. It really depends on how far you are but from R0 I would agree with a years time of trading but really who knows. It's something that needs your undying focus and attention to get done, and really, it's not worth it.

i've never even seen someone with 100 mil b-factions at all, even when playing for years, pretty much impossible (at this time of the game). You can also open a z-key service like quite some other people do, or do at's/mat's, which will probably take quite some time to get into

I take it you don't spend much time in the Great Temple of Balthazar. I've seen many people selling an upwards of 5,000+ ZKeys. I'm almost 100% sure they were either bought illegally or being sold by bot farmers to to fund sales of ectos/gold.

I'd imagine that just doing some pvp everyday and putting imperial faction towards balth/keys would lessen the time, prob not by a ton, but it would. I know i went from 0 to 5 in about 3 days easily doing about 3 or 4 hours of pvp each day and buying a few keys off players. Now yes I'm not stupid I know the higher you go the longer it's going to take, but if you just do it smartly instead of trying to bullrush it and force it up fast as you can, you'll be surprised at how quickly it goes. There's a reason I saved this title for one of the last ^.^
